IMPORTANT FLACS EXAM UPDATE
Given the recent decision by the NYS Board of Regents on assessments, NYSAWLA is therefore cancelling the administration of the June 2021 FLACS Checkpoint A and B Assessments in Chinese, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Please note the following:
- The June 2021 checkpoint assessments will not be made available to members and will remain secure.
- Consider joining our Collegial Circle for this Friday, March 19, 2021. We are certain that the cancellation of the checkpoint assessments will be a topic of discussion. Visit our Events page to register.
We eagerly await a NYSED FAQ that specifically mentions the LOTE Checkpoint A and B exams, and we will share with members when it is sent by NYSED. We continue to appreciate the support that is given by the NYSED OBEWL. There is light at the end of the tunnel – we will continue to support one another!
